Malaysian palm oil giant FGV Holdings Berhad, formerly FELDA Global Ventures (FELDA), has been sanctioned by the world’s largest palm oil certification scheme, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), after the RSPO confirmed forced labor, complicity in the trafficking of workers, dire living conditions, widespread illegality and over 25 breaches of the RSPO sustainability certification criteria on FELDA plantations.
